My sister’s natural hair wedding.  She did it herself.

Here I am on my wedding day. My best friend styled my locs and it turned out great. Natural hair can be quite versatile; don’t believe otherwise. There are so many beautiful natural hair options for brides!

Married on 11-26-11. BC’d in July ‘11. Did a finger coil 5 days before and retwisted the night before. Just picked it out and added 2 hair clips. 

July 23, 2011-Sandals Negril.. 1st day of the rest of our lives.. My husband is annointing me in this picture… a blessing throughout the marriage! 

I love him and he loves me “naturally” ! :)

Love this page, it was inspirational for me when choosing my look for my wedding day. So I wanted to share pictures of my own wedding day look. My mom did a roller set, and I pinned it up then accentuated the curls with some Miss Jessies “Curly Merunge”. 

My husband as awesome, he not only accepts my hair… he loves it! 
His love and acceptance has made it easy to be empowered by the natural me. He encourages me to explore, and use my crafting talents. I tea dyed my net veil, and hand made a feather fascinator. 
Instead of a dress, I decided to wear a Satin black Pencil skirt, Orchid Cardigan and Leopard print heels. Being natural has inspired me to be more daring with my fashions! 

It’s amazing how being natural, learning to make your own hair products (and take care of your own hair) has spilled over into other parts of my life!
